British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) is a UK charity dedicated to rescuing marine mammals in distress. The organisation responds to more than 3,000 calls each year and works with a nationwide network of volunteer marine mammal medics.
To reach volunteers faster and coordinate responses more effectively, BDMLR began searching for a digital solution to replace its previous system and better support operations in emergency situations.
The challenge
