Digital membership administration and communication in one system
The Swedish Coeliac Association works to improve the quality of life for people with coeliac disease and other food intolerances in Sweden. Through knowledge-sharing, community and support — including a nationwide network of local associations — the organisation creates value for its members through activities, lectures and events.
To bring membership management, communication and administration together in one system, the Association chose the Cardskipper platform, designed to support organisations with both national and local operations.
The challenge
With numerous local associations and a steady flow of information, the organisation needed a modern solution to simplify both administration and communication. Previous ways of working involved considerable manual effort and made it difficult to communicate efficiently — particularly when handling membership fees, mailings and event administration.
The Association required a system that worked seamlessly for both the national office and local associations, while also providing members with a clearer and more consistent experience.
The solution
With the Cardskipper platform, the Swedish Coeliac Association established a single membership channel where communication and administration are managed in one place. The app is used to share relevant updates with members, whether messages come from the national office or a local association.
Local associations can easily invite members to events, manage registrations and issue digital tickets directly through the app. At the same time, members have access to key features such as translation cards, a digital magazine and other important membership information.
Membership fees are handled digitally, with options to pay by invoice, card or Swish directly within the app.
The result
By consolidating its membership operations onto a single platform, the Association has streamlined its processes and strengthened member engagement. Members value having everything accessible on their mobile, while the organisation benefits from a more structured and responsive way of working.
For both the national organisation and its local associations, the solution means less administration and more time to focus on what matters most — supporting and engaging members.
