Cardskipper partners with Hatton Academy

The new agreement is Cardskipper’s first in the UK as part of the organisation’s international roll-out strategy

25 May, 2018 – Cardskipper, innovators in digital membership communication, have signed a new agreement
with the UK’s number one boxing training provider, Hatton Academy.

The three-year deal will see Hatton Academy implement Cardskipper’s state-of-the-art app-based technology to create a new communications platform and enhance engagement with members.

Cardskipper offers an alternative to traditional membership cards; it is an app that has been developed to connect organisations with its members by facilitating targeted, instant and effortless communication.

For Hatton Academy, the new Cardskipper platform will keep members up-to-date with latest news and information, provide access to training resources, redeem promotional offers, pay fees and buy Hatton Boxing equipment and accessories.

Organisations can also segment data to facilitate targeted marketing campaigns, leading to a better conversion rate and increased sales. The introduction of a digital membership card also significantly reduces the costs associated with print and distribution including letters, membership packs, special offers and traditional membership cards.

Commenting on the new partnership, Jon Eade, founder of Hatton Academy, said: “The new Cardskipper platform provides us with another channel by which to engage with our members and encourages targeted comms to ensure we’re marketing the right offers to the right members.

“It’s effective, affordable and importantly for our members, it’s easy to use and will give them access to information and assets that will further enhance their experience of Hatton Academy.”

Joakim Schelin, CEO of Cardskipper, said: “We are delighted to have signed a partnership with a forward-thinking organisation like Hatton Academy. Being our first in the UK, it’s an important step for our international launch and ambition to help clubs and organisations improve member communication.

“With a number of other partnerships nearing completion it is exciting to see how well the UK market is taking to the Cardskipper concept.”

First launched in Sweden, Cardskipper is now in use at over 220 organisations internationally including sports federations, supporter clubs, cultural groups and student organisations.
